Almost every day someone leaves a message for us asking what the quickest way to lose weight is. You will probably find arguments pointing to miraculous diets, exhausting physical exercise, weight loss treatments or therapies.

Unfortunately, experience has taught us that what works for one may not work for the other, so it is difficult, if not impossible to give an answer that will be generally applicable.

A diet alone might make one feel exhausted and determine him/her to cut back on the physical exercise, thus reducing the number of calories burnt and implicitly the effects of the diet, not to mention that losing weight quick would involve a drastic diet, and we are not exactly fond of such recipes.
